What a night. On Friday 28 August we were named winner of Outstanding Education Service at the 2026 Moreton Bay Local Business Awards. Two years in a row now, and it feels just as special the second time.
The awards are run by Precedent Productions with the support of City of Moreton Bay, and the room was full of great local businesses on the night. We’re stoked to have brought this one home again.
A big thank you to our trainers, assessors and admin team. You’re the ones who show up for our students every single day. This award is yours as much as anyone’s.
To our students, and the businesses and community who trust us to train their people, thank you for backing us. Moreton Bay is the third largest region in the country and growing rapidly, so winning here at home means a lot to us.
“I grew up in Albany Creek and went to St Paul’s School, and I couldn’t imagine doing business anywhere else,” said our director, Jocelyn Doherty. “Winning the region’s education award two years running, here at home, means more to me than any award ever could.”
Women in male-dominated fields
Being a female-owned business in a male-dominated industry makes this one mean a bit more. Safety, construction, transport and training are all fields where women are still outnumbered, and we’d love to see that change.
“So much of the conversation about AI and jobs is about what women stand to lose. We want to talk about what women stand to gain,” Jocelyn said. “I’ve spent 20 years in male-dominated industries, and the workplaces that get safety right are the ones that look like the whole community. We need more women in this field, and we’d love them to start with us.”
